Construct a street legal, Shelby Cobra 427 replica for around $20,000 and complete it at a tolerable pace. Authenticity and period accuracy is not my primary goal; safety, performance and reliability are. Car will serve as a daily driver. The build is focused not only on completing the vehicle but enjoyment of the build process.

No Later Than Goal is the 2003 Carlisle Car Show (May)
I missed my initial goal of completing the kit before the 2002 Carlisle Car Show. I'm not really disappointed at missing that mark because my original intent was to enjoy the build and not make it a stressor in my life. It's still importnant to have a general plan of action to keep this project on course so I've adjusted the schedule accordingly.
